On Saturday, May 17, join me for this family-friendly event in the Jorat woods! I will be present with my bike-café offering my products. The Jorat Natural Park Association invites you to discover its new visitor facilities, designed especially for children and families. Among others, the brand-new educational shelter made of Vaud wood, located near the forest sofa, was designed to offer Lausanne and Vaud school classes a protected learning space deep in the forest.
Two thematic educational trails complete this offering and make perfect excursion destinations for school outings or family walks. « Parole de brigande » (5 km): an immersion tracing the legendary bandits of the Jorat. « Bufo the Toad » (2 km): a playful and interactive trail designed for younger visitors.
Throughout the day, free activities, nature workshops, enchanting tree‑side stories, and open‑air performances will punctuate the festivities. Visitors can also meet Sonya Trolliet, illustrator of Bufo the Toad. At 11:15 a.m., the educational shelter will host the official ceremony and the “glass of friendship,” open to everyone.
